Medium weight yearling steers to feed averaged 11c/kg cheaper, however heavy weight yearling steers to feed sold to solid demand. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed sold 12c to 29c cheaper and local trade classes averaged 23c less. Poor conditioned cows averaged 17c cheaper and medium weight 2 scores eased 11c, while the better end of the cows averaged 4c to 12c cheaper.
C2 yearling steers made from 245c to 294.2c, averaging 273.3c to be 11c cheaper. C3 yearling heifers made from 220c to 233.2c to average 227.1c, easing 23c. Grown steers sold from a low of 255c to 280c. C4 grown heifers made from 249.2c to 269.2c, averaging 252.1c. Manufacturing steers received from 170c to 178.2c to average 174.1c. D3 cows made from 179.2c to 203.2c, 4c cheaper to average 217.7c. C3 bulls received from 220.2c to 260.2, averaging 240.2c, up 4c.
