The cow market eased across the board 10-20c.
Heavy trade heifers topped at 328.2c weighing 465kg returning $1526 with their companion steers weighing 490kg also selling to 328.2c to return $1608. The Weier family, Clifton, sold Limousin heifers weighing 380kg sold to 318.2c to return $1209.
Charolais cross steers a/c Lawrie Cooper, Mt Tyson, in pen lots sold to 290.2c weighing 267kg returned $775. Lightweight Angus steers a/c Mike Perrin and Andrea Vonhoff, Anduramba, topped the day at 322.2c weighing 219kg to return $657. A cow and calf ex Plainby in store condition sold to $875.
