VALUES jumped at George and Fuhrmann's annual weaner sales, with top quality Santa/Hereford-cross steers cracking 310c/kg live.
Queensland buyers again led the charge, paying 290-305c for the heavier weaners and similar money for well grown heifers.

The sale include big drafts of well conditioned Santa/Hereford-cross steers and heifers.

The top Angus/Charbray-cross pen came from Keith Graham, Boat Harbour. The 333kg steers made 290c to return $965.
Heifers also sold well with plenty of pens cracking the 300-310c mark.
