FORMER Bundaberg farmer Lex Greensill made a stunning impression at the Rural Press Club of Queensland in Brisbane, detailing how his company Greensill is providing business with low cost working capital.
The now London based businessman has become the largest bond issuer in Europe and is set to build a new bond issuing operation in Bundaberg to service Asia.

Greensill accesses capital from sources including fund managers and superannuation funds to generate bonds, which provide its supply chain finance clients with the low cost working capital.
The lunch time event also saw the awarding of annual RPC journalism awards. Winners included Lucy Kinbacher, a former Roma based Queensland Country Life journalist now working with The Land.
