More than 200 guests packed into the Emerald Town Hall in Emerald, to celebrate some the best in country racing and recognise those people who work tirelessly to make the popular social outing in the bush a success.
Hosted by the live-streaming Facebook page ‘On the Bit’ and assisted by generous sponsorship including Racing Queensland, the night was a highlight for many who attended.
The inaugural ‘Hall of Fame Horse’ horse was Picnic in the Park.
Veteran Mt Isa jockey, Keith Ballard was named inaugural Hall of Fame jockey.
Blackall’s living legend, Charlie Prow was inducted as the inaugural Hall of Fame trainer.
