FATHER and son team Alan and Neil Goodland from Clare, Theodore, have done it again, taking the grand champion pen of steers title at the annual Biggenden all breeds steer show and sale.

The pen of 10 465kg Charolais/Brahman-cross steers went on to sell for 299.2c to return $1392, going to Nolan Meats' Wide Bay Feedlot.

Alan Goodland said the well grown steers had been running on leucaena for the past few months.

The Goodland's prize pool included a Leicht's CIA vet crush.

The 1907 head yarding was judged by Terry Nolan from Nolan Meats. Wide Bay Feedlot bought a solid part of the yarding, in what proved a strong sale.
