A total of 4417 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s store sale on Tuesday. Weaner steers under 220kg topped at 286c and averaged 251c, weaner steers 220-280kg reached 298c and averaged 272c. Steers 280- 350kg reached 296c and averaged 270c, and steers 350-400kg reached 300c and averaged 279c. Feeder steers 400-550kg topping at 300c and averaging 279c.

SJ Ward & SK Fink, Karana, Injune sold Charbray steers to 296c, reaching a top of $1116 to average $890. The Charbray heifers sold to 245c, reaching a top of $829 to average $$778. R Donner, Boxvale, Taroom sold Hereford cross steers to 288c, reaching a top of $1336 to average $1240. DW & SG Rowbotham, Retreat, Roma sold Angus cross steers to 288c, reaching a top of $1251 to average $1251.
