THE Noosa district’s ‘green diamond’ Yalanga Station is on the market, to be  sold through an expressions of interest process being conducted by Colliers International.

Located at Como, 17km from Noosa, the 1643 hectare (4060 acre) prime agricultural/development property is in seven freehold titles.

Yalanga has a 4km frontage to Kin Kin Creek, numerous lagoons, dams, fertile farming land and highly improved pasture. The largest freehold property on the Sunshine Coast adjoins the world renowned Cooloola National Park and Noosa River Waterways.

Improvements include a four bedroom homestead at the northern end of the property, which was built in the 1980s. There is also a small cottage behind the house. 

Yalanga has two work sheds, located near the cattle yards and homestead. The sheds are used as workshops and plant and equipment storage areas.

The property is abundantly watered by four dams, one bore, eight seasonal lagoons and two creeks, including 4km frontage to the Kin Kin Creek. There is also very reliable supply of underground water if further bore development is sought. Yalanga is located in a high rainfall region. The average annual rainfall at the nearby Tewantin weather station is 1568mm.
