CHARLEVILLE High School’s missing lamb has been returned.
Detective Sergeant Warren Baker from Charleville Major and Organised Crime Squad (Rural) said the nine-month-old black Border Leicester-cross lamb had been stolen from the high school.
Detective Sergeant Baker said through the use of social media and local knowledge the lamb was located near Murweh Drive, Charleville.
The stolen lamb had been bred through the agricultural program at the school, and has now been reunited with its mother.
Detective Sergeant Baker said investigations revealed that a silver-coloured hatchback vehicle was seen in the area about 10.30pm on the evening of November 9, as well as being seen in the vicinity where the lamb had been dumped on Sunday.
Police are seeking information in relation to the identity of two males that were seen getting out of a vehicle near the high school on Saturday evening.
