Agents Bartholomew & Co reported a yarding of 417 head of cattle at their Beaudesert store sale on Saturday.
The market rose for all descriptions as buyers competed fiercely for quality lines of steers from two-year-olds down to weaners. Heifers with good breeding potential sold very well, as did cows and calves.
