It looks as though the ACA Novice Horse Competition is headed for a close finish.

Jewel owned by Robert and Wendy Durkin has moved into first place of the ACA Novice Horse Competition standings with 278.00 points. The Northern Zone mare has been in and out of the top spot throughout the year so hopefully the Christmas break will be enough to recharge her batteries to finish the competition year strongly.

Lambs Leroy, owned by Adrian Lamb, is in second place, 25.83 points in front of Lady Antebellum, owned by Peter and Dalmarie Glenwright. The Acton siblings, Tory and Tom, and their horses, Destined To Be and Paris, hold fourth and fifth places with 232.83 and 218.40 points respectively.

With only a little over four months to go until the end of ACA season it certainly looks to be once again a close finish to the competition.
