Initial police investigations indicate at about 9.30pm, a quad bike travelling along the Thomson Development Road crashed into the end of a bridge, with the bike and 31-year-old male rider coming to rest in the middle of the bridge.

Later that evening, a vehicle travelling along Thomson Development Road hit the quad bike, causing the vehicle to overturn.
