Cows and bullocks were dearer, feeder cattle remained firm, while weaner steers and younger steers sold to a more competitive market than previous sales. Younger heifers continue to be the most affected by the dry conditions.

Gerber Farms, Clarendon, sold Brown Swiss cows for $1550 and Friesian cows for $1200. Don-Toria Downs, Coalbank, sold Brangus cows for $1100. Reviresco Group, Sheep Station Creek, sold a line of Droughtmaster steers for $1040.

Donald Cameron, Silver Ridge, sold lines of milk tooth steers for $890-$980. Robert Mockeridge, Helidon, sold Santa weaner steers, 10 months for $875. Leon Manteufel, Marburg, sold a line of Charbray steers for $895. Bruce Greer, Flagstone Creek, sold 7-8 month old Brangus steers for $760.
