MOREE, NSW, property Broadwater has sold under the hammer for $8.3 million.

Jointly marketed by Moree Real Estate and North West Real Estate, the 2312 hectare (5713 acre) is located about 70km west of Moree. 

The country is described as being predominately all good quality soils typical of the watercourse areas. There are about 1900ha of all-level, grey-black mostly consistent coolibah soil types, with a small area of lighter country.

The balance comprises of timber clumps and an area of grazing at the northern end of the property

The property is watered via the Meroe capped and pipped scheme with 23 risers, tanks and 5 troughs. There are also three dams.

Improvements include a three bedroom homestead, quarters, sheds, and six silos.
