A crowd of 350 made their way to Riverside Receptions, Brisbane, to catch up with friends and support a worthy cause on Saturday night.
Held each year during the Ekka, Cause for Cocktails raises funds for Hear and Say.
The charity aims to achieve the best outcomes for deaf children, through early diagnosis, technologies such as cochlear implants and auditory-verbal therapy.
This year’s Cause for Cocktails committee consisted of Callum Smith, Annabel Ferrier, Chelsea Salter, Hayden Stehr, Matt Faust, Georgia Camm, James Drysdale, Arabella McMahon, and Fiona Elder.
The committee prepared a gorgeous night on the bank of the Brisbane River, which included live music from The Eaglets and Frankie and Raff, canapes, and raffles.
The 2017 event raised more than $19,000 for Hear and Say.
