The second day of cattle competitions at the Royal Queensland Show commenced on Tuesday with a strong showing of junior led steers and heifers.
Judge Berry Reynolds, Toowoomba, awarded the champion junior led heifer title to a Limousin from St John's College in Dubbo.
Reserve champion went to the Charolais cross female from Ben Toll and St John's College in Dubbo.
Ipswich girl Brooke Parlane and her Limousin cross steer were named champion junior led steer while a Charolais cross from New England Girls School, Armidale, claimed reserve champion.
The competitions continued into the day with school junior judging competitions, both teams and individual.
Dalby State High School reigned supreme in the team judging while Mitch Franz, a student at the school, also claimed the champion school steer young judge.
It led them to also claim the title of most successful school.
