The market remained firm for most descriptions with quality lines selling well. Lesser quality types were easier. Weaner heifers were also slightly cheaper. A good line of feeder steers came to hand and met strong competition.
Shane Ryan, Tamborine sold Santa cross steers 2 ½ years for $1430. Marcus Tod, Beechmont sold Murray Grey cross steers 2 years for $1185. Charolais cross steers 15 months account San Ed Cattle Co, Anduramba sold for $1130. Paul Mahony, Canungra sold Droughtmaster steers 12 months for $910.
Frank and Joan Hester, Allenview sold Santa steers 14 months for $880. Eurara Pty Ltd, Innisplain sold Charolais cross steers 12 months for $875.
Hansen Industries, Lamington sold Charolais cross steers 12 months for $805. Brangus steers 12 months from Frank and Tina Browne, Moogerah sold for $800.
Charbray heifers 15 months account Errol and Jennifer Craig, Laravale sold for $975. San Ed Cattle Co sold Charbray heifers 14 months for $895. Shane Ryan sold Santa cross heifers 14 months for $750.
Angus cross heifers 15 months account Hamish Armstrong, Munbilla sold for $730. Hamish Armstrong also sold Angus cows and calves for $810.
