Prices generally turned around for a number of classes at Dalby, where 4161 cattle were yarded.

Numbers reduced by 41 per cent at Dalby for a yarding of 4161.

Cattle from NSW eased back to 600 head and far western Queensland declined to 670 head.

Prices generally turned around for a number of classes with medium weight steers to feed being 11c better and heavy weight yearling steers to feed gained 2c/kg.

Good heavy bullocks were too small in numbers to reliably quote.

However cows were well supplied and lifted in price by 3c to 8c, and up to 12c/kg on plain conditioned lines.

Heavy weight yearling steers to feed sold from 256.2c to 274.2c, up 2c. Medium weight yearling heifers to the same have made from 220c to 240.2c.

Medium weight grown steers to feeders have made from 232.2c to 256.2c to be back 3cg.

Heavy weight cows have made from 190.2c to 214.2c to be up 8c.

The best of the bulls has made to 244.2c for a medium weight bull to feeders.
