Heavy bulls sold from 191-218c. Ron Hampson’s 736kg Santa bullocks sold for $1850 or 251c. AK and CJ Baldwin sold Droughtmaster bullocks 640kg for 267c or $1710. Mt Shaw Pastoral’s four- and six-tooth Red Brangus bullocks sold to 259c or $1520.
S and P Leahy sold Santa cows 624kg for $1343 or 215c and lighter cows 552kg for 217c. Generally, cows sold from 210-220c while lighter cows sold from 180-200c.
Dale Brown and family sold Charolais cross steers 453kg for 256c or $1160. Warren Roth’s Brangus steers 428kg sold to $1075 or 251c. KD and AP Wyatte’s 416kg Brahman cross steers sold to 258c or $1075. P Gardiners’ 356kg Droughtmaster steers sold to $903 or 253c. AJ and RL Kerr penned Charbray weaner steers 304kg to realise 273c or $830. J and A Devillers sold a run of Charbray-Limo cross weaner steers for 276c topping at $777. Wayne Rogers Brangus weaner steers for 279c or $762. BR Hill, Hillborough Station, sold Charbray steers for 273c or $710.
All weaner heifers sold from 210-230c with odd sales up to 250c. Dale Brown’s Charbray cross No.7 heifers sold to $922 or 227c. DC and JD Wyatte’s Brangus heifers sold to 227c/kg or $893. Ashenhurst Partnership sold Droughtmaster heifers 298kg for $692 or 232c.
