The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a middle-aged man after the B-double truck he was driving rolled over at Cunningham's Gap in Queensland's south-west.
It is believed the truck was slowly climbing an incline when it left the road and rolled over.
The man was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service Paramedics (QAS) and LifeFlight's aeromedical crew before being airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,334 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
LifeFlight is a community-based charity that relies on donations from the public and community support to the LifeFlight Foundation.
