Popular Australian chef Pete Evans is spending Tuesday at Beef Australia, hanging out at the Arcadian Organic and Natural Meat Co site.
Hosting two cooking demonstrations, one at 11am and the other at 3:30pm, Pete said he will be using beef cheeks and steaks from Cleaver’s, an Australian-owned, certified organic and free range meat business.
“We’ll be promoting organic and free range, and of course teaching people some yummy recipes,” he said.
“Hopefully they take home what we say – food is medicine depending on what you choose to put into your body.”
Arcadian Organics marketing manager Paul da Silva said he encouraged people to come along and check out why Cleaver’s is the leading organic beef brand in Australia.
“It’s a big opportunity for people to, at a consumer level, see the brand associated with the producers that actually are responsible for it,” Paul said.
“A lot of the time there’s a real disconnect between what is in the store and where it’s actually grown.
“Cleaver’s is a brand that has a strong link through that chain and we’ve got very loyal suppliers – all family farmers.”
