QUEENSLAND Government owned properties, once earmarked for the former Glendower Dam project around Beaudesert and Tabragalba, are on the market.
The six properties to be auctioned on June 7 are a combination of large agricultural holdings, residential houses and lifestyle properties.
They include three blocks of vacant land each around 50 hectares, a house on 1.2ha, a house on 20ha with frontage to the Albert River and 193ha of prime river flats with irrigation licences, houses and sheds.
The three adjoining lifestyle blocks all front the Beaudesert-Nerang Road. While each is different, they all enjoy wonderful views and are characterised by the rolling landscape. The country is predominately open, with shade on the ridges.
In the northern corner of the lifestyle blocks is a three bedroom country home on a 1.2ha lot that will be offered separately.
On the western side of the road Lot 6 has a small farmhouse on 20ha (50 acres). It has plenty of higher ridge country, and flows down to some flats on the Albert River.
The final property comprises 193 hectares (476 acres) of superb rich river flats. Three water licences are currently attached to the property. It is in eight freehold titles and has frontage to both Beaudesert-Nerang Road and Tabragalba House Road.
The properties are located about 60km from Southport and 70km from Brisbane.
Ray White Rural Queensland’s Peter Douglas and Ed Dalton, principal of Ray White Rural Beaudesert have been appointed to manage the sale process.
The properties will be open for inspections on Sundays. The auctions will be held in Beaudesert on June 7.
