Charolais cross steer calves a/c Gaylene and Colin Belz sold for $990. Brent Pratten, Kilcoy sold Charbray steer calves for $995. Syd Beutel had Charolais cross steer calves for $950 and Brangus for $920. Paroz Bros. had 18-20 mths Charolais cross steers for $1300 and $1275.

Jack Murphy, Crows Nest sold Droughtmaster steers 2 yrs for $1275.  Col Smith, Manumbar sold quality 16 mths Droughtmaster steers for $1250 and Charolais cross for $1265. Glendale Partnership, Harlin had Droughtmaster steers 16 mths for $1050.

Michael Baker, Chess Park, Eidsvold sold Droughtmaster cross steers 16 mths for $1180 and $1145.

Rural Australia Advisory sold Santa steers 10-12 mths for $925 and $905. Melissa Thornton’s Charolais cross steers 8 mths sold for $845. Christine Aitken’s Droughtmaster steers 16-18 mths realised $965 and $875. Geoff Gelhaaar, Ingoldsby sold 12 mths Charolais cross steers for $900 and $880.

Andrew Jenner, Anduramba sold Santa steer calves for $900. Grant and Michelle Huston, Gatton had Santa cross steer calves 6-7 mths which sold for $890. Michael Cannell’s Simmental cross steer calves sold for $870. Ian and Michael Williams, Gregors Creek sold 6 mths Droughtmaster steers for $800.

Liekefett Holdings sold a top line of Santa heifers PTIC to a Hereford Bull for $1360 and $1300. Flag Springs of Auburn Chinchilla sold a deck of PTIC aged Santa for $1270, $1265 and $1170 with 5 decks of young no. 7 Santa heifers of impeccable temperament for $940, $930 and $920. High grade Brahman cows and calves sold for $1590.

Feeder Charolais cross heifers sold by Col Smith, Manumbar sold for $1030 and $1020. Jorson Farms sold 60 grey Brahman heifers 15 mths from their Gregors Creek property for $860, $830, $840 and $800.  Syd Beutel’s Angus cross weaner heifers sold for $725. Peter Smith, Ivorys Creek sold Euro cross heifer calves for $770.  Melissa Thornton sold quality Charolais cross weaner heifers for $765.

The next sale is Friday May 4 followed by 5500 of South Queensland’s best weaners on Friday May 11.
