Almost 300 people traveled to Mungindi on Wednesday for AgTech18 with some coming from as far south as Melbourne and others from north Queensland.
Bringing together some of the smartest minds at the intersection of agriculture, machinery and technology, the day explored topics at the heart of future agricultural productivity and profitability.
Discussions covered automation in the form of drones and robotics, followed by communication, connectivity and precision farming.
The day finished with a field demonstration from SwarmFarms, Emerald, Goanna Telemetry, an Agrifac Endurance sprayer with plant-recognising camera technology, and a drone from InFarm, Goondiwindi.
