POLICE are seeking assistance from members of the public to locate and recover a two-year-old filly that disappeared from a droving plant on the stock route between Rolleston and Springsure on December 3.
The filly had been haltered and secured near the droving camp while her owner was taking smoko to his droving team.
Police say on returning to camp he found the filly gone and just her halter lead remaining where she was tied.
The filly is described as a chestnut with a faint white star on her forehead above the line of her eyes.
The Australian Stock Horse has the registered name Too Hot To Frost.
