Last weekend saw Bauhinia Campdraft Association host their second ACA Starter Clinic. The rain on Friday and Saturday night was just enough to settle the dust, which made for some thankful participants.
The 14 participants found the Starter Clinic to be a fantastic opportunity to ride their young horses and give them some experience. Rob Durkin’s knowledge was lapped up by all of the participants who learnt about cattle work, dry work and the ACA rules among other topics.
The cattle were generously donated by Cameron McIntyre and carted by Tiger Hay’s Transport Company.
ACA Starter Clinics allow participants to learn about campdrafting in a fun and safe manner. Contact the ACA office on (07) 4622 3110 for more information.
