BULL riders from Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria are the favourites going into the K Ranch Xtreme Bulls event on Saturday at Mt Hunter, (November 18).
Toowoomba rider Ben Palmer will compete at Mt Hunter after enjoying plenty of success on the Australian Professional Rodeo Association circuit. He is a past winner at the Warwick Rodeo.
Rothbury (NSW) rider Jason O’Hearn is in field of 19 bull riders at Mt Hunter.
He is a past champion in the APRA and one of the best on the circuit.
Docher (VIC) rider Bryden Atkins has competed overseas but is now back in Australia riding bulls on the circuit. Atkins won titles as a junior in the APRA.
One of the riders to watch at Mt Hunter will be Sean Lynch from Wagga Wagga who has often been in the top-five in the APRA bull riding standings.
After this weekend, the next APRA event will be the Xtreme Bulls at Leppington in New South Wales on November 25.
The major APRA action in December will be in New South Wales with Rodeos at Young on December 2 and The Rock near Wagga Wagga on December 16 as a forerunner to the start of the Christmas Run in the APRA at Myrtleford in Victoria on Boxing Day.
The K Ranch Xtreme Bulls start at 6pm Saturday, November 18 at K Ranch Arena, 180 Monks Lane Mt Hunter. Tickets at the gate.
