​Roma prime sale yarded a total of 163 head of cattle on Thursday, November 9.


​A total yarding of 163 head of cattle were penned at Roma’s Prime Sale on Thursday, November 9.

Steers in the 400-550kg class sold to 276c/kg, averaging 270c.

Heifers over 450kg made to 242c and averaged 242c, heifers in the 350-450kg class sold to 260c, averaging 255c.

Cows over 500kg peaked at 261c and averaged 228c, while cows in the 400-500kg class topped at 234c and averaged 203c. Cows 300-400kg sold to 245c and averaged 208c.

TN&SD Pukallus, Warrabinda, Roma, sold Charolais cross cows for 259c at 547kg returning $1419.

DS&DW Sutton, Freshfields, Roma, sold Brahman cross cows for 233c at 588kg returning $1372.

CJ&JM Coggan, Tiger Scrub, Roma, sold Santa cows for 232c at 605kg returning $1404.

Bulls over 600kg made to 269c and averaged 257c.

CJ&JM Coggan, Tiger Scrub, Roma, sold Santa bulls for 264c at 800kg returning $2113.
