Queensland and Northern Territory’s exclusive Caterpillar dealer, Hastings Deering, has turned their Brisbane facility into a ‘makeshift worksite’ for a day to showcase their latest Dig Day event.
Hastings Deering has raised the bar this year with around 300 customers through their doors on October 14th to experience first-hand the latest in Cat© construction equipment.
With more than 200 Cat machines in one place, customers had the opportunity to test drive a range of skid steers, compact track loaders, mini excavators and worktools, plus select heavy construction machinery on display.
Onsite trade-in valuations, exclusive finance, parts and service deals and jobsite technology information was also on offer.
Hastings Deering Building and Construction Industries Manager, Matt Scott, said that this year’s Dig Day was a great opportunity to reinforce and demonstrate Cat construction machinery superiority and also the Hastings Deering after sales support network, including parts, service and technology.
“It was great to see so many contractors experiencing our products first-hand.
“We were able to showcase that Hastings Deering and Caterpillar are a package deal of solid engineering, with the best parts and service back up out there and a whole lot of dedicated people,” he said.
Dig Day 2017 was broadcast live on Channel 9’s Today Show, and Rugby League legend, Justin Hodges, was also onsite to mingle with punters.
There was plenty of fun for the whole family with trade stalls, food trucks, face painting and a jumping castle for the kids.
