THE second Santa Gertrudis sale in the Big Red Santa Week, the Wandoan Santa Gertrudis Bull Sale, saw a top of $22,000 today.
It was Valleyview Luke 1546 from the Ciesiolka family, Valleyview Santa Gertrudis, Oakey, who was purchased by Scott Dunlop, Dunlop Santa Gertrudis, Proston, for $22,000.
A total of 40 stud and commercial bulls were offered at the multi-vendor sale with 28 bulls selling for an average of $6142 and a clearance of 70 per cent.
