THE state’s top stud young judges and paraders battled it out in the main arena of the Royal Queensland Show on Saturday for a spot in the national final next year.
In the end it was Siobhan Francis representing the Central Highlands sub chamber who was named the state champion parader ahead of runner up Luke Aisthorpe, Burnett sub chamber by judge Tammy Robinson, Toogoolawah.
The state champion stud young judge went to 16-year-old Joe Tones from the South Burnett sub chamber with runner up going to Megan Kent, RNA representative. They were judged by Rebecca Skene, Cecil Plains.
