One of the most popular spectacles of the Royal Queensland Show, the Young Auctioneers State Final, will be live streamed on queenslandcountrylife.com.au
Sponsored by the Rural Marketing Agents Network (RMA) and the Australian Livestock and Property Agents (ALPA) Association, the live stream will kick off at 8.45am on Friday morning (August 11).
Queensland Country Life’s sister publication, The Land, live streamed the NSW and National Young Auctioneer Finals at Sydney Royal Show earlier this year, attracting more than 14,000 viewers across the State.
The technology also has a rewind facility allowing viewers to watch it later at their convenience.

QCL editor Penelope Arthur said the live stream would give everyone an opportunity to enjoy the competition regardless of where they were on Friday morning.
“I watched the live stream from the Sydney Show and the quality was fantastic – this competition really lends itself to live streaming as it’s very entertaining,” she said.
“There were people tuning in on their phones from the paddock.”
