HUNDREDS of school students are polishing their boots, braiding their hair and trying to complete the impossible task of keeping their white coats clean ahead of the Led Steer School Paraders competition at the Ekka today.
The competition will kick off from midday today with schools from across the country competing.
While Ekka gates aren’t officially open, parents, teachers and cattleman and women will be on hand to watch the event.
