Restocker cattle were in demand at Bartholomew and Co's Beaudesert store sale on Saturday.


BARTHOLOMEW and Co yarded 402 head at the Beaudesert store sale on Saturday.  The market was described as firm to dearer for all descriptions, with fierce competition for lines of quality restocker cattle.

Euro-cross steers two years account Fay Palethorpe, Tallebudgera Valley, sold for $1210. Wells Family Trust, Coulson, sold lines of Charbray steers 15 months to top at $1180. Grange Country Estate, Beaudesert, sold Braford steers 15 months for $1160. 

Droughtmaster weaner steers account Early Storms Pastoral, Canungra, sold for $1025. Jon Stiller and Co, Allenview, sold Limousin weaner steers for $1000. Charbray weaner steers account Resson Pastoral, Esk, made $995. Ian Sellars, Rosevale, sold Santa weaner steers for $970.  Charbray weaner steers account Dean Pilon, Merrimac, sold for $845. 

Simon and Raelene Corcoran, Canungra, sold Charbray weaner steers for $845. Limousin-cross weaner steers account the Mills Family, Beechmont, made $795. Charbray weaner steers account Peter and Virginia Lewis, Tamborine, sold for $755. Angus heifers 15 months account Wells Family Trust made $1080. 

Braford heifers 18 months account Cliff Face Pty Ltd, Currumbin Valley, sold for $825.  Limousin-cross weaner heifers account Jon Stiller and Co sold for $750. Charbray weaner heifers account Dean Pilon sold for $690. Peter and Virginia Lewis sold Charbray cows for $1255. Droughtmaster cows account J&J Family Trust, Rathdowney, sold for $1160. Euro-cross cows account Wells Family Trust sold for $1050.
