Droughtmaster breeders, Gerry and Chass Bayliss of Three Sisters Droughtmaster Stud, Laidley, have tragically lost their home and all their belongings in a horrific house fire last week.
The fire also destroyed a nearby shed, vehicles, and a number of family pets.
A fund has been established for both Droughtmaster Australia members and the general public wanting to provide financial or other assistance for the family.
“Our thoughts are with the Bayliss family at this difficult time, and our members are doing what they can to support the family,” said Neil Donaldson, CEO, Droughtmasters Australia.
For those that may wish to donate household items or cattle fodder, please contact Amy Steinhardt on 0423 378 984.
Small items can be left at the Droughtmaster Office, 40 Thorn Street, Ipswich for collection.
Please contact the Society office on (07) 3281 0056 for details.
