It's not hump day, but it's a hump-filled story!

TopX Gracemere’s Brad Mulvihill has had his phone and Facebook explode after he advertised 12 camels for sale this week. 

The dozen were a mix of males and females, with the cows in calf. 

Selling on behalf of Cliff and Kathy White, Home Hill Station, Glenroy, Mr Mulvihill said within hours of posting the ad on Facebook, he was being inundated with calls. 

“I just can’t believe it, I’m absolutely dumbfounded,” he said. 

“People were calling from all over Queensland and New South Wales, and they didn’t just want them for weed control like I expected.

“There was people who were buying them to race them, and one lot that wanted them to milk for cosmetics.” 

Mr Mulvihill said he only posted the ad on social media at Mr White’s request.

“He called me last week and said he had 13 camels in yard, and said ‘can you put it on that Face thing you do’,” he laughed.

“So I did, and it has just amazed me.” 

All of the camels have been sold, but Mr Mulvihill said after the popularity, Mr White was preparing to do another muster to get another mob in for sale.
