A larger yarding of quality cattle came to hand at the Hayes and Co Silverdale store sale on April 16. Pens of quality weaners met with hot competition and sold to an intense panel of buyers. Priscilla Macmillan, Kilcoy sold Droughtmaster cross steers for 280c returning $1372. Vasek Fasteners, Hazledean sold Charolais cross steers for 287c to return $947.10. C, B & C Hines of Harrisville sold Droughtmaster cross steers for 282c to return $1102.62. Chasing the Dream, Boonah sold Charbray weaner steers to 310.5c returning $989.
