RENEWED confidence in the rural property market has seen the Bourke property Winrae sell at auction for $1.82 million today.
Located 125km north of Bourke and 125km south of Cunnamulla, the 9466ha (23,391 acre) western lands lease property sold for the equivalent of $192/ha ($77.30 acre).
It was bought by Dubbo-based brothers Robert and Scott Mudford who also have country adjoining Winrae.

Winrae is estimated to run 5500 dry sheep equivalents with seasonal trading opportunities following flood events. Up to 85pc of the property is affected by beneficial flooding from Tuan Creek and the Warrego River.
Winrae has 13 grazing and seven holding paddocks. Improvements include a homestead, cottage, shed, workshop and shearing shed.
Water is supplied from a bore servicing 35 troughs.
The selling agents were Greg Seiler from Landmark Walsh Hughes with Peter Armstrong and Jason Hartin from Schute Bell Whitbread and Co.
