The supply of stock reduced by 1375 head to 5754 at Dalby on Wednesday. A full panel of export processors returned to the buying panel and all were operating.
Medium weight yearling steers to feed at the time of this interim report have gained 18c/kg and heavy weight yearling steers to feed over 400kg improved by 12c. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed experienced very little change, while a lift in the quality of the heavy weight yearling heifers to feed lifted by 30c/kg.
Cows received a mixed trend, with plain conditioned cows 2c to 8c better, while good heavy cows went against this trend to ease a further 3c/kg. C2 yearling steers received from 257.2c to 289.2c to average 280.8c, up 18c/kg. C3 yearling heifers sold from 230c to 238.2c, averaging 236.1c, less 7c/kg.
C2 grown steers made from 242.2c to 266.2c to average 247.5c, less 20c/kg. C4 grown heifers sold from 273.2c to 279.2c, averaging 277.4c/kg. D4 cows made from 190c to 213.2c, averaging 196.2c, back 3c/kg. C3 bulls to feed received from 272.2c, less 12c, with the best of the bulls making to 275.2c/kg.
