Hayes and Co yarded a top-quality line up of 1580 weaners for its annual weaner sale at Silverdale. Cattle were drawn from the Fassifern Valley, Lockyer Valley and the Brisbane Valley. The yarding was a credit to all vendors with the harsh dry season the weaners look exceptional with majority of vendors pre treating cattle before the sale, with over 70 per cent of the yarding going to clean country areas such as Roma, Dalby, Goondiwindi, Meandarra and Blackall. The market was strong for all descriptions with buyers from all across the state purchasing.
