Charolais steers hit 336c at Roma store sale

A total of 8500 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday. Weaner steers under 220kg topped at 336c and averaged 296c, weaner steers 220-280kg reached 336c and averaged 297c. Steers 280- 350kg reached 330c and averaged 300c, and steers 350-400kg reached 312c and averaged 292c. Feeder steers 400-550kg topping at 310c and averaging 297c. Cows and calves hit $1450/unit.
