Brahman weaner steers reach top of $785/head at Gin Gin
A total of 281 head were yarded at the monthly Gin Gin store sale on Monday. The market held firm over all categories due to a very good line up of cattle, which were drawn from Miriam Vale, Rosedale, Bucca, Booyal and Biggenden.
M&T Dingle, Miriam Vale sold a run of No.8 Brahman weaner steers to top at $785/hd.
The Estate of Ashford, Monduran sold No.8 Charbray weaner steers for $685/hd, with their heifers topping at $635/hd.
K.Skillington, Gin Gin sold No.8 Droughtmaster weaner steers for $660/hd. Their weaner heifers sold to $610/hd.
Roylance and Marriage families, Miriam Vale sold No.8 light weight grey Brahman weaner heifers for $405/hd.
The next sale will be held on September 17.
