BLUE, red and white were the popular colours for an attire at Beaudesert Race Club as keen racegoers were showing off their Aussie pride at today’s races.
The hot and humid weather did not stop guests from wearing their boldest outfits and settling in near the track side to view seven races at the Australia Day meet on January 26.
Attendees were placing bets throughout the day as cheers and shouts of encouragement could be heard at the venue as horses and jockeys raced to the finish line.
Some women wore their finest fascinators with their matching dresses while men suited up with their best shirts and ties.
While other locals arrived in their true blue outfits featuring their favourite denim shorts, singlets and thongs holding their little Australian flags.
