A yarding of 255 head at Miriam Vale on Tuesday saw the market ease on the previous sale. The yarding mainly consisted of No 7 steers and heifers, with many plainer lines due to the season.
Older steers sold out to $900.
The Turner family, Lowmead, sold Brahman cross steers No 7 for $840. Peter Mossman, Ubobo, sold a pen Shorthorn cross steers No 7 for $810.
Cliff Roylance and family sold Grey Brahman steers No. 7 for $800. Most weaner steers sold from $675 to $800.
Duan Pastoral Co, Calliope, sold a pen of Brangus heifers No 7 for $805. The Parker family, Bororen, sold Simbrah heifers 10 months for $600.
Weaner heifers sold general from $350 to $600 pending size and quality.
Store cows sold form $600 to $800. Cows and calves sold to $1150.
