The middle aged Droughtmaster cows and calves from Commissioners Flat via Peachester topped at $1820, with others at $1620, $1600 and $1580. Middle aged Brangus cows and calves sold for $1680. Santa cows and calves from Jimna sold at $1640.
Brian and Daphne Hermann of Kholo sold aged Droughtmaster cows and calves for $1610 and Charolais-cross for $1600. Barnes Grazing Co sold Charolais-cross cows and calves for $1740. Huston Contracting, Gatton, sold Brangus-cross cows and calves for $1710. Terry Groves, Gatton, sold a used poll Charolais bull for $1400.
Heifers were in shorter supply this sale. Droughtmaster heifers 18 months made $1080 and $1050. Trevor Kellaway, Hazeldean, sold Brangus-cross heifers 16 months for $970. Grant and Michelle Huston sold Santa-cross heifers 16 months for $1060. Gina Drew sold Droughtmaster heifers 16 months for $1000. David Aitkens sold Limousin-cross heifers 14 months for $1000. Gavin Klibbe’s Brangus heifers 18 months sold for $1190.
