A BROILER farm at Cryna near Beaudesert had sold for the equivalent of more than $30/bird, reflecting the strong demand in poultry production sector.
The RSPCA accredited farm which has a Inghams contract to deliver 5.8 batches a year features four tunnel ventilated sheds.
The 83 hectare (206 acre) farm on Hill End Road has two homes and associated farm infrastructure. Plant including two end loaders and two tractors was included in the sale.
Marketing agent Deran Weale said the sale was a solid indication that existing farms with current contracts were still in high demand.
The property was marketed by Deran Weale and Danny Bukowski from Raine and Horne Rural, Brisbane.
