With a lot of rain in the area, a yarding of just 200 head mainly consisted of weaner cattle saw a dearer market at Miriam Vale on Tuesday.
Ray and Nadine Crawford, Bororen, sold a pen of Red Brahman Steers No.6 for $930. Jack and Von Ryan, Builyan, sold a pen of Brangus weaner steers for $820. Craig McNab, Bororen, sold Droughtmaster cross steers No.7 for $780. Most of the weaner steers ranged between $700 to $820.
Ron and Shirley Ferguson, Miriam Vale, sold a pen of Brahman Braford cross heifers 20 months old for $775. The Turner family, Lowmead, sold there Brahman cross heifers No.7 for $600 with most of the weaner heifers ranging from $500 to $600.
The next Miriam Vale sale will be Tuesday November 21 at 10am.
