A total of 27 bulls sold to average $3814, while four females sold to average $1500 at the Kingaroy All Breeds Bull sale held at the Coolabunia Saleyards, Kingaroy last Saturday.
Topping the draft at $6500 was an Angus bull Bull Ruby Ridge Looney Tunes L3, offered by first time vendors Darren and Karen Plowman, Ruby Ridge Angus, Kingaroy. It was bought by the Bourke family, Mundubbera.
Overall Ruby Ridge offered three Angus bulls to average $5500. All bulls were sired by Valorbrook H54.
Jan and Doug Bradshaw, Blue Dog Simmentals, Wandoan sold Blue Dog 946 for $6000 to the Claydon family, Bell.
A price tag of $4500 was recorded twice by both the Limousin and Murray Grey breeds.
Noel Hinton, Glenrockie Limousins sold Glenlockie K5 to Lance Bunter, Kio Ora near Gympie.
David and Sally Taylor sold a Murray Grey bull Kingsgrove Tennyson to Daryl Flett, Chinchilla.
Rosemary Hack, Brown Mountain Angus, Bemboka, southern NSW made the long trek to Kingaroy and sold 10 bulls to average $3750. Agents: GDL and Aussie Land and Livestock.
