WARWICK teenager David Bartley has been named runner up in the National Finals Young Beef Cattle Paraders competition in Melbourne.
The 18-year-old just fell short of the national title which was won by Pyper Page representing Tasmania.
It caps off a year full of wins for Mr Bartley who took out the grand champion led steer award with his Limousin steer, Voodoo Child, at the Royal Queensland Show earlier this year.
The judge commended him on his “calm” approach and ability to work well with the different heifers he led.
