“Quality, quaint and quirky” is the theme for the 13th annual Pittsworth Craft and Fine Food Spectacular being held in the Pittsworth Town Hall from Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 8.
An initiative of the Anglican Parish of St Andrew, Pittsworth, the event has quickly become one of the best events of its kind in the region, with its success stemming from the initiative shown by the organising committee to invite the best crafts people and artisans to exhibit their produce and products in the accommodating and picturesque town.
A Champagne Country Breakfast will act as the official opening to the Spectacular with “The Singing Bishop" Cameron Venables to be there with his guitar to entertain the guests.
The breakfast will be held at the Pittsworth Hotel Motel from 6.30am to 8.30am. After finishing their breakfast guests will be able to shop from exhibitors at the Town Hall from 8am. Tickets to the breakfast can be pre-purchased before September 29 from Rhonda’s Rag Trade or Not To Shabby.
Over 50 exhibitors will be showcasing their quality, handmade Australian products during the three day event, with displays showcasing a great selection of clothing, leather belts and handbags, plants, gourmet delights, artwork, jewellery, wines, toys, herbs, woodturning, pottery, confectionery, natural skin products and much more.
During the days energise yourself with a gourmet barista coffee by Simplicitea in the Town Hall Supper Room, and enjoy a devonshire Tea or light lunch.
In the Senior Citizen Rooms you can check out the exquisite glass beaded jewellery from Leah’s Creative Glass Designs, peruse the quilts and other crafts created by Dawn Flack, bobbin lace by Gail Parish, crafts of yesteryear by members of the crafty quilters and a cheese making demonstration from 9am on Saturday.
Make it a day, make it a weekend, whatever you do, don’t miss the Pittsworth Craft and Fine Food Spectacular.
